Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has reportedly had an online critic arrested for wishing death on her son. The arrest comes after a heated exchange between the actress and the X user, identified as @Yarlo, who made the threatening comment.
The exchange began when @Yarlo wrote, “Your son go kpai soon” (Your son will die soon). Toyin Abraham responded, promising to use him as a scapegoat, to which @Yarlo replied, “Use me as the first scapegoat.”
According to a friend of @Yarlo, who reached out for help on social media, the Lagos State Police Command arrested him four days ago for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham. The friend, @Reedah, wrote, “Heard from his mother that he was arrested 4 days ago… Pls any help you can render will deeply appreciate you.”
Efforts to confirm the arrest with the Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, were unsuccessful.
This development comes amid intense online criticism against Toyin Abraham for her support of President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 general election.
