Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke announced the passing of Oludo Alayemore of Ido-Osun, Oba Aderemi Adedapo, on Sunday.
The governor described the monarch’s death as “touching and painful” and extended condolences to the traditional council, people of Ido-Osun, and Oba Adedapo’s family.
Oba Adedapo was a dedicated advocate for peace and progress, with a strong professional background in law and architecture.
He served as Secretary-General of the Council of Yoruba Obas and was a close ally of the immediate-past Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade. The governor praised Oba Adedapo’s legacy, urging everyone to honor his memory by continuing his good deeds and pursuing the greater good.
