BREAKING: Gov. Mbah Appoints New Officials to Key Positions

Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has made significant appointments, ushering in a new wave of leadership across key institutions in the state.

In a move aimed at revitalizing governance and fostering growth, Sir Chinyeka Ohaa has been appointed as the Chairman of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Governing Council.Alongside Sir Ohaa, the governor has approved the appointments of Prof. Ikenna Chukwu, Engr. James Ajibo Ifeanyi, Gladys Ngozi Okoro, Hon. Chinedu Onu, and Dr. Eric Oluedo as members of the ESUT governing council.

These appointments come as part of a broader effort to infuse expertise and fresh perspectives into the management of the institution.In a public service announcement issued on Tuesday, signed by the Secretary to the Enugu State Government (SSG), Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, Governor Mbah also named Prof. Uchenna Ekwochi as the new Provost of the College of Medicine, ESUT.

This move underscores the administration’s commitment to bolstering the healthcare sector and advancing medical education within the state.In addition, Mr. Francis Aninwike has been tasked with leading the Enugu State Structure for Signage and Advertisement Agency (ENSAA) as the General Manager.

This appointment signals a renewed focus on promoting commerce and enhancing the state’s advertising landscape.The appointments, based on merit, experience, and leadership qualities, aim to harness the potential of capable individuals in driving the state’s development agenda.
