“According to reports reaching Afia Tv, law enforcement officials in Enugu were sent to disperse a crowd of food vendors at Okpara Square.
The vendors had been ordered by the government to stop selling food in the area.
When the crowd began to protest, the officials explained that the order had come from the government. They stated that selling food items in the area was no longer allowed.
Residents who gathered in the area to exercise were planning to protest the removal of the food vendors.
