After a car crashes into Boots in Liverpool, the driver was hurt.


After a car crashed through the glass facade of a Boots pharmacy in a retail complex, one of the drivers was hurt.

At approximately 14:08 GMT, the car struck the business at Liverpool’s Edge Lane Retail Park, shattering glasses and breaking merchandise.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service stated that one person inside the business had shock treatment while the driver of the car received treatment on the spot.

There were no additional injuries, according to Merseyside Police.

Witnesses called the situation inside the shopping centre “bedlam,” noting that some merchandise were scattered all over the floor.
Before crashing into the storefront, the black Volkswagen struck three empty cars in the shopping center’s parking lot, according to the police.

The store was cordoned off, and the police asked anyone with information to come forward.
