Nollywood Actress Onyekachi Amajuoyi
Nollywood Actress, Creative Queen and Model Onyekachi Queen Amajuoyi popularly known as Choice or Lolo Igbo, has dished out her own opinion on Polygamy. She shared her views on Polygamy, pointed out the key factors that might be contributing to the problems associated with Polygamy, via her Instagram handle.
According to her, Polygamy is our culture and heritage and should be embraced. She condemned the white man’s culture of one man one wife saying that it is hypocritical because the white man can marry a wife and divorce several times. At the end, one white man may end up marrying more than 5 wives. She commended the Northerners who marry more than two wives and encouraged other tribes to emulate the Northerners who marry more than two wives but still live in peace.

Who is Choice Onyekachi Amajuoyi?
Onyekachi Amajuoyi is a Beautiful Nollywood Actress and a Movie producer, a Model, Makeup Artist and a Creative queen who hails from Imo State, Nigeria. She is talented in many ways, she is a creative queen who can use beads, Jute bags, palm fronds and other materials to design an outfit. She won the title of ”LOLO IGBO” at the Igbo beauty Pageant in the year 2018. She is the CEO of Choice Creations, a brand of beauty, ready to wear, cosmetics and personal care services.
As an Actress she has featured in over 30 movies such as Cracked, Royal Huntress, Give and take, the African Prince, Twisted faith, Dark Friday, Ndiowu, Agbaluko, Pierced Heart, Waterfalls of Goodness Etc.

” Today i would like us to talk about polygamy. My name is lady Onyekachukwu Amajuoyi popularly known as Choice Amajuoyi in Nollywood. The reason i want us to talk about polygamy is because these days people see polygamy as a taboo, or that the man is not religious. Is polygamy a sin? I understand, as I was told by my grandmother, that men who married many wives did so in order to have enough hands in farming, and any man that married more than one wife showed that he was a wealthy man. But in this generation, exactly why do men marry more than one wife?
In some families some women do not want their husbands to marry two wives because they are afraid of losing their inheritance, which is very wrong. In a polygamous family, first and second wife are supposed to be at peace with each other. Husbands should endeavor to inform their first wife of the decision to marry a second wife. If the first wife is no longer performing her duties as she should, the husband should be open to tell her about it, and also tell her of his idea of getting a second wife and not take her unawares. When a second wife is married into the family, the first wife is supposed to tell her children to respect the first wife and take her as their second mother.
There should be no crisis in polygamous family if they decide to live in peace. If a man notices that his two wives do not love themselves, he should make them swear an Oath to protect one another, and whoever breaks the Oath dies. In that way the wives can live in peace. It is also important for men to know that before embarking on the journey of polygamy, he should make sure to be able and capable in taking care of his wives and children as polygamy is not for a poor man”
