EMEKA EMEKESIRI RESPONDS TO THE CRITICS OF THE NEW DADDY G.O, PASTOR JIMMY ODUKOYE.
Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, New General Overseer (Daddy GO) Fountain of Life Ministry
As the controversy surrounding the appointment of the deadlocked Nollywood actor, Jimmy Odukoye, as the new General Overseer of the Fountain of Life Ministry rages on with many condemning the appointment, Mobin Media sought the opinion of an Apostle of Jesus Christ, Barr. Dr. Emeka Emekesiri, the founder of Christ The Rock Community, on the matter. He is an expert in Law and Ministerial Theology. Here is his submission on the matter:
I have not seen any bad teaching from these comments about long hair, beards, earrings, etc. These are not moral laws but cultural practices and ceremonial laws.
In the Bible, it is not every command that is meant for eternal life. Some commands are merely cultural, ceremonial, or administrative laws that can change from time to time.
God does not change his moral laws. If the new General Overseer teaches that a person can steal, kill, defraud, take another person’s thing by force, then he is breaking the moral law. Stealing is condemned by God and by our Laws.
God has not said that any man that wears long hair will go to hell. Wearing long hair or short hair has nothing to do with faith and character of the person, it has nothing to do with Eternal Life. However, God requires us to dress decently.
