Agyemang Diawusie, a former star of RB Leipzig, passed away at the age of 25.
Diawusie, the former ace of the Germany U19 team, died unexpectedly. According to German media BR24, his death was caused by “natural causes.”
Diawusie rose through the ranks of RB Leipzig, one of the biggest teams in the Bundesliga.
He was a standout player for German third-tier team Jahn Regensburg this season. On Tuesday, the club posted a heartfelt statement announcing the striker’s passing.
“This Tuesday, SSV Jahn received the terrible news that Jahn professional Agyemang Diawusie passed away at the age of 25,” the statement states.

Born in Berlin to Ghanaian parents, Diawusie competed at the youth level for Europe.
He was a player for RB Leipzig, Dynamo Dresden, SpVgg Bayreuth, and Jahn Regensburg before to his untimely death. On November 4, he made his final appearance for the latter club against 1860 Munich in a Bundesliga 3 match.
