Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has issued a formal apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries for spreading false allegations against him.
The apology comes after a public feud between the two began in 2022, with Abubakar claiming she was ill due to an altercation with Suleman. However, she later admitted to suffering from an autoimmune disease.
In her apology letter, Abubakar acknowledged causing harm and distress to Suleman, his family, and the Omega Fire Ministry. She expressed deep regrets for tarnishing his image and sought forgiveness.
“I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my action and the damage I caused,” Abubakar wrote. “With this letter, I humbly ask for forgiveness, recognizing that my apology cannot undo the harm, pain, and distress I caused.”
