Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has inaugurated a 6.4-kilometer township dual carriageway project in Argungu, valued at N7.23 billion. The project includes road construction, drainage systems, and solar street lights.
Governor Idris emphasized that the project is part of his administration’s commitment to fulfilling campaign promises, having delivered 50-60% of promised initiatives. He assured that funds have been secured to prevent project abandonment.
The project is expected to be completed within 12 months, with the contractor already mobilized to the site. The governor also announced plans to renovate the Argungu General Hospital and encouraged farmers to adopt dry-season farming.
