At a National Youth Symposium in Lagos, Sanwo-Olu encouraged youths to surround themselves with motivational people and discover their path to self-sustainability.
Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat echoed this sentiment, urging youths to seize opportunities, seek mentorship, and invest in skill development. He stressed the value of education that combines theory with practical skills.
Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, former Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University, stated that self-reliant youths would drive economic growth, reduce poverty, and contribute to a stable and prosperous society.
