Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman is in contention for the Europa League Player of the Week award after his impressive performance in the semifinal win over Olympic Marseille.
Lookman scored and provided an assist as Atalanta secured a 3-0 victory and a spot in the final.
The Nigerian international opened the scoring in the 30th minute and then set up Matteo Ruggeri for the second goal in the 52nd minute. This takes his total goal involvements for the season to 20 (12 goals and 8 assists).
Lookman will compete with AS Roma’s Mile Svilar for the individual honor. Atalanta will face Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final on May 22 in Dublin.
