Nigerian singer Davido has shared his experiences with grief, having lost his mother, Victoria Adeleke, at age 11, and his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, among other associates.
In a recent interview, Davido credited his faith and strength for helping him cope with the tragedies. He referenced his song “Stand Strong,” saying, “I feel like strength and obviously, my faith has kept me going.”
Davido also addressed misconceptions about himself, stating that people often think he’s either too accessible or unapproachable. However, he clarified that his upbringing in a large family has made him comfortable with having people around.
The singer emphasized that his talent and success are God-given, and he remains humble despite his achievements.
