NEW YEAR 2024: CP KANAYO APPRECIATES THE GOVERNMENT AND CITIZENS OF ENUGU STATE FOR THEIR SUPPORT IN 2023, WISHES THEM A MORE PEACEFUL AND PROSPEROUS 2024;
In a New Year address, Commissioner of Police for Enugu State, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, psc (+), expressed heartfelt appreciation to both the government and citizens for their unwavering support in the fight against crime throughout 2023.
Acknowledging the pivotal role played by Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mba, security stakeholders, and the law-abiding citizens, CP Kanayo emphasized that the notable achievements in policing during the past year were made possible through this collaborative effort.
Looking ahead to 2024, the Commissioner extended warm wishes for a more peaceful and prosperous year to everyone. He assured the public that the Police Command is committed to building upon the successes of 2023. This commitment involves adopting a more proactive and innovative approach to policing, aiming to create a safer and more secure environment for the people of Enugu State.
CP Kanayo took the opportunity to address criminal elements, urging them to use the new year and the gift of life to reconsider and abandon their unlawful activities. He emphasized the Command’s dedication to a forward-looking policing strategy in the coming year.
