Nigerian Gospel Singer Laid to Rest in Lagos

Renowned Nigerian gospel singer, Dele Agbeyo, popularly known as Dele Gold, has been buried in Lagos. The Ekiti-born singer passed away on September 11, 2024, after a brief illness.

The burial ceremony, held at his Abule Egba residence on September 19, 2024, was attended by notable figures, including Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun and gospel musicians Genesis, Wale Dada, and Femi Solar.

Dele Gold, also known as The Miliki Gospel King, was a native of Usi, Ekiti State. His legacy in the Nigerian gospel music industry will be deeply missed.

Tributes have poured in from fans and fellow artists, celebrating Dele Gold’s contributions to gospel music. May his soul rest in peace.
