Uzor Arukwe, a prominent Nollywood actor, has revealed that his role in the record-breaking film “A Tribe Called Judah” was the most challenging he has ever played.
Arukwe portrayed Chidoke, an Igbo businessman and money launderer, and found it difficult to master the Igbo dialect and pronunciation of “R’s” and “L’s”.
During an interactive session with fans, Arukwe shared that he had to consciously replace the “L” sound with the “R” sound to make his performance feel natural and believable.
His impressive performance earned praise from the film’s producer, Funke Akindele, who commended him for his outstanding work. “And you nailed it. Well done bro. Thank you too,” she wrote, quoting his tweet.
