Plane crash lands inside Abuja airport
The incident featured a Boeing 737 with the Nationality and Registration Marks 5N-BYQ. The aircraft, arriving from Lagos, landed in Abuja. While attempting to exit via A4, its nose wheel got stuck in the grass verge, with the fuselage on the runway.
The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau stated that the runway was closed until the aircraft could be towed. An investigation into the serious incident has begun.
James Odaudu, a spokesman for the Bureau, assured that there were no injuries or fatalities.
