President Bola Tinubu has made several key appointments, naming heads of prominent agencies and advisers to his administration.
Mr. Idris Ajimobi has been appointed Senior Special Assistant to the President on Livestock Development, following the establishment of a new Ministry of Livestock Development.
Senator Bashir Mohammed has been named Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters.
The President has also appointed Oluwaseun Faleye as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), with Mojisolaoluwa Alli-Macaulay as the Executive Director (Operations).
Baffa Dan Agundi has been appointed Director-General of the National Productivity Centre, while Dr. Mainasara Kogo has been named Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
Jobson Ewalefoh has been appointed Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, subject to Senate confirmation.
These appointments aim to strengthen key agencies and enhance the administration’s efficiency.
