Sam Larry’s Custody ConfirmedThe Lagos Police Command reports that music promoter Samson Balogun, known as Sam Larry, is currently in their custody.
Sam Larry was seen in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State with a heavy security presence after his arrival in Nigeria less than 24 hours ago.
The police have arrested and interrogated him in connection with the death of IleriOluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, which has been confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson,
Benjamin Hundeyin. In a video, several patrol vans from the Rapid Response Squad were observed in Ikorodu. Sam Larry has denied any involvement in Mohbad’s death, explaining that their dispute stemmed from Mohbad’s failure to perform at his mother’s annual remembrance event in Ikorodu after being paid N2 million,
which was not refunded before his death.
