After ending a one-year scoring drought, forward Isaac Success has expressed his satisfaction with Udinese’s 1-1 draw against Napoli, stating his desire to continue scoring.
Success’s powerful right-footed shot in additional time secured a crucial point for Udinese in their bid to avoid relegation.
Speaking to the club’s media team, Success emphasized the importance of the point, saying, “The point is more important than the goal, it brings us closer to our goal.” He praised the team’s unity and encouraged his teammates, saying, “We all work for each other.”
Success also credited coach Fabio Cannavaro for his clear ideas and experience, saying, “He has a lot of experience and brings personality, he tries to adapt to the team as quickly as possible and we are all working hard.”
Teammate Kingsley Ehizibue highlighted Success’s physicality and strength, saying, “Isaac is a very physical and strong player, he is very important for us. I’m happy for him and I hope he scores more goals in the season run-in.”
Success will aim to build on his first goal of the season when Udinese face Lecce next Monday.
