The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set to arrive in Bordeaux on Thursday night, as they prepare for the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games. After a training camp in Sevilla, Spain, the team will depart aboard an Air France flight and land in Bordeaux just before 11 pm.
The nine-time African champions will be based at the Hotel Mercure, as they prepare to make their return to the Olympics after a 16-year hiatus. Led by Coach Randy Waldrum, the Super Falcons are drawn in Group C alongside Spain, Japan, and Brazil.
In their final friendly match before the Olympics, the team lost 1-0 to Canada on Wednesday night. Despite the loss, the Super Falcons are ready to face the challenges ahead and make a strong impact at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
