Nigerian football legend Onome Ebi marked her 41st birthday in grand style in Lagos, this was shortly after her return from the Israeli Women’s Premier League.
The celebrated centre-back enjoyed a photo shoot session before cutting a stunning cake to commemorate the occasion.
Expressing her gratitude, Ebi said, “I’m thankful to God for another year of life.” She has had an illustrious career, becoming the first African footballer to feature in six World Cup tournaments.
Ebi has also been a key player in the Super Falcons squad, winning the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations four times.
In a previous interview, she attributed her fitness and longevity to regular training, adequate sleep, and a disciplined lifestyle.
