TINUBU’S APPEAL HALTS RELEASE OF HIS ACADEMIC RECORD

In a last-minute legal twist, lawyers representing President Tinubu have made a successful appeal in a Chicago Court, temporarily halting the release of his academic records from Chicago State University to Atiku’s legal team. This development comes after a controversial order by the court to release these records, which has stirred significant debate.

Dr. Jeffrey Guterman, a retired mental health expert, argues that the institutions image has already been in the mud and that Chicago State University cannot claim that releasing these documents could potentially damage the institution’s reputation. However, it is worth noting that the university’s image has already faced turbulence in the past. The Chicago SunTimes previously reported on a case in which the university settled a whistleblower lawsuit for a substantial $1.3 million.

President Tinubu’s legal team had requested the court to delay the execution of the order until at least September 25th, a request that the US Court has granted. This decision puts a temporary hold on the release of Tinubu’s academic records from Chicago State University to Atiku’s lawyers.

This legal battle continues to captivate public attention as it unfolds, with both sides anxiously awaiting the court’s final ruling on this matter, which will undoubtedly have far-reaching implications.
