Former presidential aide, Doyin Okupe, has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent visit to Enugu State as a transformative moment. During the one-day visit on Saturday, Tinubu inaugurated projects initiated by Governor Peter Mbah’s administration, marking the first visit by a sitting president to the South-East state in a decade.
Okupe, who once led Peter Obi’s presidential campaign, commended Tinubu for demonstrating fairness and commitment to the South-East. He noted that the president’s promises for regional development and his candid approach signify his dedication to Nigeria’s unity and stability.
Highlighting the late Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu’s advocacy for east-west political collaboration, Okupe urged Tinubu to continue fostering connections across Nigeria while working to alleviate the struggles of ordinary citizens.
