Tiwa Savage gets robbed in London
Nigerian music sensation Tiwa Savage recently shared on her Instagram story that she fell victim to a robbery in London, United Kingdom, this Wednesday.
In a post expressing her frustration, she wrote, “Damn London, una show me pepper o. I got robbed yesterday.” However, Tiwa did not provide specific details about the incident.
Tiwa Savage, a prominent figure in the Nigerian music industry with global recognition and numerous awards, has not only been making waves with her music but also with her upcoming debut movie, ‘Water and Garri.’Following her initial post, fans expressed concern for the singer/songwriter’s safety. Tiwa later reassured them with a subsequent post saying, “Thanks guys.”Regrettably, this is not Tiwa Savage’s first encounter with robbery.
In April 2023, there was an unsuccessful attempt to rob her residence, which she confirmed in an official statement on April 14. She assured fans that she and her family were safe, and individuals involved in the attempted robbery were arrested and held for further investigation at the Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.
