Ugandan Immigration Detains Nigerian Music Producer, Rexxie
Music producer, Ezeh Chisom, widely recognised as Rexxie, has called for help after being detained at the Ugandan immigration office.
He appealed for his release via an Instagram post on Monday morning.
Rexxie wrote: “I’ve been arrested at the Ugandan immigration. Please, I need help! This is so unfair! Help help help!!! #UgandaFreeRexxie.”
He however did not reveal why he was arrested.
In 2020, the Uganda Police Force arrested two Nigerian musicians, Omah Lay and Tems, for violating COVID-19 protocols.
Their arrest followed their participation in The Big Brunch event hosted at Speke Resort, located on Wavamunno Rd, Kampala, Uganda.
