Violence Mars Enugu by-elections.
The Enugu by-elections which was further postponed from it’s earlier scheduled date to 14th February, was further disrupted by violence.
In a video posted by Afia Tv on it’s twitter handle party agents were clearly seen agitating over alleged fake result sheets.The LP candidate Mr Emeka Bright Eugene who spoke to Afia Tv, alleged that the PDP agents chased voter’s away and also pointed accusing fingers on PDP agents,he said they were doing everything possible to frustrate the process to give them a free ground to cart away with election materials were destroyed and voters were sent away by the hoodlums.
according to him PDP agents wore fake tags as against the original one provided by the election umpire.The former governor Old Anambra Jim Nwobodo also spoke to press men on his arrival to one of the polling units saying that he doesn’t want blood shed.
INEC also made a post on its twitter handle, claiming that hoodlums disrupted the rerun elections, stating that no casualties were reported but that election materials were destroyed .
