A 12 YEAR OLD MISSING BOY FOUND DEAD WITH EYES REMOVED AND WRIST AMPUTATED

John Soyinka, 12, went missing, and his body was reportedly discovered on Monday morning at the Kotogbo village inside Asero Estate, Abeokuta. It was reported that his eyes had been removed and that his wrists had also been amputated.
John was reported missing around a week ago, and the Obantoko Police Station in Abeokuta received a complaint concerning the event.

The young kid was reported to have vanished after attempting to check on a customer who completed point-of-sale transactions in a store where the deceased typically helped customers but never returned, according to a local who begged to remain anonymous and spoke with our correspondent.
The insider claimed, “I know the youngster very well. He lived with his mother, who I assume is no longer with her husband. He is about 12 years old. His mother works in mundane occupations such as sweeping and other household chores.

“The boy was attending school as well, but I also frequently see him at a business centre where they perform barbering and POS functions. I assume he is helping them out there.” According to what we’ve been told, on Thursday of last week, he stated he wanted to check in with a customer who was doing point-of-sale transactions. Perhaps there was anything wrong with the transaction, but the lad never returned.

“The neighbourhood Development Association brought the issue to the attention of the Obantoko Station District Police Officer since the boy and his mother were residents of Olasunkanmi neighbourhood.
The boy’s body was discovered on Monday at the Kotogbo community, which is next to Olasunkanmi, according to the DPO, who also notified the police at Adigbe and Lafenwa. The two settlements are located in Abeokuta’s Asero Estate. The boy’s eyes and wrists were amputated, leading some to believe that the death was a ritualistic act. The catastrophe has indeed brought the residents to a state of sadness. SP Omolola Odutola, the spokesman for the Ogun State Police Command, assured our correspondent that she will answer as soon as possible.
