Wizkid and Davido’s messy shades and banters all started on X, formerly known as Twitter, when a fan asked Wizkid for a new music release. Before this, Wizkid who has not been active on X suddenly posted, “Every day I get things to say but my mouth no good.” Then proceeds with his banters.
Through it, a fan mockingly asked him for a new song since it had been a while he dropped one.
Davido, however, was convinced that it would take Wizkid twenty years to release one and he couldn’t wait, while Wizkid dissed Davido and his song writer, calling him ‘pant washer’.
Wizkid further trolled Davido by asking fans to beg him for a new song just like David’s recent crying video that went viral, this was followed by many fans making jokes out of it and begging Wizkid for a song.
During this troll that fans think may be an act between the artistes, Wizkid also expressed praise for the Nigerian celebrity pastor and musician, Odumeje, following his latest song.
Many fans think that the two artistes were only having fun with their banters because Davido posted about Wizkid’s new album in December, 2023.
