Mrs Folake from Ede local government area in Osun state, has been suffering from goiter for a long time. She has been seeking for medical help for a long time through social media, but there was no help. They visited Osun state governor but didn’t get any help too. Recently she met with a team of medical doctors from the UK who offered her a free medical services , she refused the free services and asked for the cash contributed for her surgery instead.
The NGO tried to convince her to go on with the operation, but she refused and preferred the money contributed instead. This maybe as a result of fear. She was given the #300,00 contribution, and she went back to her village.
