Mo Abudu, a renowned media mogul, will be honored with the Visionary Leadership Award by Woodhall Capital at the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) breakfast meeting on October 8, 2024, at the Lagos Continental Hotel. This recognition comes as Mo Abudu celebrates her 60th birthday, marking her significant contributions to Nigeria’s entertainment and media sectors.
The event aims to equip Nigerian and American businesses with insights and strategies for navigating the current economic landscape. Kenneth Opara, Immediate Past President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, will deliver a keynote speech on “How the Changing Banking Sector Landscape Can Support Nigeria’s Socioeconomic Reforms.”
A panel discussion will follow, moderated by Olufemi Awoyemi, founder and chairman of Proshare. Panelists include Margaret Olele, CEO of the American Business Council; Dr. Omolara Akanji, Chairman of ICC Banking Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce Nigeria; and Otunba Francis Meshioye, President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria.
