Nollywood actress and the wife of a UK based Lawyer Chinenye Emekesiri has taken to her social media to advise her fans to be intentional in this 2024. She shared this message via her social media handle.
According to her; she wrote:
”Do not be surprised when your friend’s behavior towards you changes, or when they walk away from you.
Here are the reasons your friends of 2, 5, 10 years can walk away from you.
- If you succeed more than them, and they start feeling intimidated by your success.
- When you get to a point they never believed you will get to.
- When they don’t know your secrets ( remember they can’t destroy what they don’t know)
- When you stop depending on them for help, they will now feel that they can’t control you again.
- When they try so hard but still can’t be like you.
- When they are so jealous of what you have and the grace you carry, because they can’t have it.

My advice for you this year: “BE INTENTIONAL “
Don’t keep too many friends, maintain a small cycle of like minds, if possible walk alone. Talk when it’s necessary, avoid running to friends for solution to every problem. Live your life not worrying whether others are pleased with it.
And above all, BE SPIRITUAL, BE CLOSER TO YOUR GOD. In all that you do, do not knowingly step on any toe, and do not look down on anybody for no one knows the head that shall wear the crown”
