Korede Bello, a popular Nigerian singer, has opened up about his past experiences with cannabis.
In a recent podcast appearance on “Say My Piece” with host Lolo1, Bello revealed that he tried smoking weed at a young age due to his environment, but eventually stopped as it wasn’t his “thing”.
Bello shared that as a child, he would often witness his father smoking and was even sent on errands to buy cigarettes for him.
Despite this, his father warned him against smoking, citing his own experiences with coughing as a result of his habit. Bello’s father would tell him, “If you don’t want to cough like me, don’t smoke.”
As a result of his father’s advice and his own experiences, Bello developed a mindset that smoking is unhealthy.
He also acknowledged having an addictive personality, which made him realize that he needed to avoid smoking to prevent it from becoming a habit.
Bello’s decision to quit smoking was a personal choice, and he has since maintained a healthy lifestyle.
