Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has insisted that a DNA test must be conducted on his grandson, Liam, to determine his paternity before Mohbad’s body is buried.
This comes after the autopsy results failed to determine the cause of Mohbad’s death, leading to calls for his body to be laid to rest.
In a recent interview, Aloba expressed his doubts about Liam’s paternity, citing instances where Mohbad’s wife would leave home for extended periods without her husband’s consent. He clarified that his demand for a DNA test is not meant to delay the burial but to ensure clarity on the issue.
Aloba also addressed allegations that he has been wearing Mohbad’s clothes and trying to inherit his properties, explaining that he and Mohbad were close friends who often exchanged gifts, including clothes.
He denied visiting Mohbad’s house or attempting to claim his belongings, dismissing the allegations as misinterpretations.
