A Draft of the New Constitution to replace the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria has been released by the National Assembly for Public Discussion. It is heartwarming to observe that the recommendations contained in the MOBIN Memorandum for Regional Autonomy are included in the Draft Constitution. It provides the right to Self-determination for every Region. A date for the Public Hearing and Presentation is yet to be released by the National Assembly.
Surely, MOBIN and all lovers of truth in Nigeria are winning this battle. Our motto and vision are unimpeachable: FREEDOM BY LAW AND POLITICS. We make positive history which others read.
