Former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal has urged President Bola Tinubu to restrain his ministers and appointees from criticizing his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.
Tambuwal, now a senator representing Sokoto South, emphasized that Tinubu’s government cannot disown Buhari’s administration’s failures, having benefited from it as an APC member.
He stressed that the president should focus on governance and unity, rather than allowing his aides to attack the past government.
Tambuwal emphasized that fixing Nigeria requires collective determination and commitment, commending the Sokoto PDP leadership for their unity and sacrifice.
The stakeholders’ meeting, attended by PDP leaders from across the state, saw Tambuwal’s financial contribution to the party appreciated by the Sokoto PDP Chairman, Alhaji Bello Goronyo.
