Cristiano Ronaldo, the Al Nassr forward, has acknowledged that his time in football is limited.
Speaking after Portugal’s 3-0 friendly win over the Republic of Ireland, where he scored a brace, Ronaldo expressed his desire to make the most of the remaining years in his career.
The 39-year-old is eager to continue his goal-scoring form at the upcoming tournament, aiming to win the trophy for the second time, having lifted it in 2016.
Ronaldo is aware that time is running out for him to achieve more success with Portugal. He emphasized the importance of enjoying the game, stating, “I don’t have many years left in football… so, I have to enjoy it.”
Ronaldo’s passion for football remains strong, and he feels proud to represent Portugal. He likened the experience to when he was 20, saying, “I’m in love with football.
Every game is special, imagine at the Euros with Portugal, you feel proud… it’s a dream.”
