A recent military operation in Kaduna State has resulted in the neutralization of a notorious bandit leader, Dogo Bangaje, and three of his lieutenants.
The operation, conducted by soldiers attached to Operation Whirl Punch, took place in the Giwa Local Government Area over the weekend.
According to the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, the troops conducted a special fighting patrol in the area, acting on credible intelligence.

They encountered the bandits fleeing and gave chase, resulting in the neutralization of four bandits, including Dogo Bangaje.
Items recovered from the bandits included weapons, ammunition, motorcycles, and various other items. The troops also dislodged a camp used by the insurgents for medical treatment and recovered additional weapons and supplies.
The state governor, Senator Uba Sani, has praised the troops for their gallantry and urged them to sustain their efforts to flush out criminal elements from the area.
